# Install GeoEngage on Webflow

> Add the GeoEngage tag to Webflow's site-wide head code, then publish so it runs on your live site.

Webflow's site-wide custom code goes into the `<head>` of every page of your published site.

## Add the tag

1. Open **Site settings → Custom code**, from your site's dashboard or the Designer.
2. Paste the tag into **Head code**:

   ```html
   <!-- GeoEngage — place in <head>, above your content.
        Do not add async/defer: the widget must run before the page paints. -->
   <script
     src="https://cdn.geoengage.app/ge.js"
     data-api-key="YOUR_API_KEY"
     data-require-consent="false"
   ></script>
   ```

3. Choose **Save**, then publish the site.

> [!NOTE]
> Custom code runs on the published site only, not in the Designer or its preview, and site-wide custom code needs a paid Webflow site plan.

## Only some pages

To load GeoEngage on one page instead, use that page's **Page settings → Custom code → Inside `<head>` tag**. Site-wide is usually what you want: a rule can only run on pages that carry the tag.

## Check it's working

Open your published site in a private window, then follow [the checks](https://geoengage.app/docs/install#check-its-working).
