GeoEngage features
Every GeoEngage feature: targeting, popups, banners and in-page changes, examples by industry, A/B tests and holdouts, analytics and privacy.
Everything a GeoEngage rule can do, and how you know it worked: who sees a change, what they see, whether it helped and what visitors did next, all in one place.
Choose who sees it
Conditions are combined in groups joined by AND or OR in the visual rule builder. A rule can target:
- Location: country, state, continent or time zone.
- Technology: device and browser.
- Traffic: the site, campaign or link that sent the visitor.
- Time: the day and time of the visit.
- Behavior: first visit or returning, number of visits, pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth.
- Customer data: what your site already knows, such as a cookie, an attribute you set or a saved audience segment.
Every condition is listed in the conditions reference.
Show what fits them
From a small notification to a rewritten page. Over the page: popups, banners, sticky bars, notifications, slide-in panels, countdowns and ratings. On the page itself: rewrite a headline or a button, swap an image, add content, fill in a form or hide an element. A rule can also send the visitor to another page or run your own JavaScript.
Text can include details about the visitor, such as their country, with dynamic text. A rule can wait for the visitor to scroll or move to leave the page, and a schedule can limit it to set dates, days and hours, in your time zone or the visitor's. See timing and all actions.
Know whether it helped
- Holdout group: a share of visitors you choose sees none of your rules, so "it worked" comes with a control group. See holdouts.
- A/B tests: split traffic between variations of a rule and see which one converts. See A/B tests.
- Goals, funnels and segments: count the sign-ups and sales that matter to you, see where visits stop, and compare groups of visitors.

Privacy
GDPR & CCPA ready. Consent mode holds all tracking until the visitor accepts, and a consent banner is built in. The widget sets no cookies, a visitor is only a random ID until you choose to identify them, and session replay masks what visitors type. What the widget stores, and when, is in storage.
